Can the hypnotherapist make me do things I don’t want to do?
No, definitely not.
In hypnotherapy, you’re always in control. It’s not like what you see in movies—no one can make you do anything you don’t want to do. You’ll be in a relaxed and focused state, but totally aware of what’s happening.
If something doesn’t feel right, your mind won’t accept it. You can talk, move, or stop the session anytime. I’m simply here to guide you, but you’re the one in charge the whole time.
Your comfort and safety always come first.
What does hypnosis feel like?
Hypnosis feels like a deep meditation—completely present, observing your thoughts, and feeling curious about them. You’re relaxed, but fully aware of everything happening around you. Some people feel light or heavy in their body, while others just feel peaceful and calm. Your breathing might slow down, and time can seem to pass differently.
It’s a natural state we experience in daily life, like when you’re really absorbed in a book or lose track of time. Everyone’s experience is a bit different, but most people find it refreshing and calming, almost like giving your mind a break.
